TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Drivers must be 14 years or older and over 140cm in height.

  • All drivers must read and sign the Stadium Karts Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) before they are permitted to drive. Any Driver participating under the age of eighteen (18) must have a parent or guardian complete and sign the Agreement on their behalf.

  • Drivers must participate in a safety briefing prior to each session in which they are driving.

  • Drivers must wear enclosed footwear.

  • Long hair must be tied back.

  • Drivers must not wear loose clothing. If clothing is deemed too loose and consequently dangerous, Drivers may not be permitted to drive.

  • Drivers must not wear loose jewelry. Stadium Karts is not responsible for the storage or security of any jewelry removed by a Driver.

  • Due to the requirements of the Karts, the recommended maximum weight for a driver is 120kg.

  • Drivers must wear a balaclava, under their helmet. Balaclavas may be purchased from Stadium Karts, kept and reused.

  • Drivers who have a pre-existing health condition, including but not limited to any physical limitations or medical conditions such as neck weakness, back weakness, broken bones, heart conditions, nervous disorders, motion sickness, epilepsy or if pregnant will not be permitted to drive Stadium Karts. Drives must notify staff if they have any pre-existing condition. In the event a Driver does not disclose a condition, Stadium Karts is not liable for any adverse outcome.

  • Drivers must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol whilst driving and must have zero substances in their system which includes a 0.00 alcohol reading.

  • Drivers may be subject to a breath test prior to driving. If the breath test reading shows any sign of alcohol, the Driver will not be permitted to drive and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Stadium Karts reserves the right to refuse a Driver to participate in a session if we suspect they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Any driver driving dangerously will be removed from the track. They will not be eligible for a refund and may be banned from Stadium Karts in the future.

  • Patrons are not to bring glass containers or bottles to the premises.

  • Patrons are not to bring pets to the premises, registered assistance dogs excepted.

  • Drivers are responsible for, and agree to pay for any damage to karts and equipment.

  • Bumping, ramming and reckless driving will be deemed as dangerous driving and may result in Drivers being removed from the track and sessions cancelled without refund.  

  • No refunds will be granted for a change-of-mind.

  • Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be on-sold.

  • Gift Vouchers are valid for the current season at Optus Stadium which operates until the 16th April 2023

    Gift Vouchers must be booked and used by 16th April 2023 or will be forfeited.

  • Driver experiences, bookings and gift vouchers cannot be used for promotional purposes without the express written consent of Stadium Karts.

  • In the event of unsafe weather, Stadium Karts reserves the right to cancel your Drive session. Any drives cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions will be entitled to be rebooked in the next suitable session.

  • In the event of unforeseen closure of Stadium Karts due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government Lockdown, the direction of Optus Stadium operators VenuesLive or major technical failure, drivers will be entitled to rebook in the next suitable session.

  • All Drives booked must be used on the day and session for which they are booked, this includes multiple session bookings which cannot be carried over to another day.

  • Any Drives from a multiple session booking not used on the day for which they are booked will be forfeited and are not eligible for a refund. 

  • Drivers must arrive at Stadium Karts reception 30 minutes prior to their booked session. Late arrivals may forfeit their drive and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Each session is approximately 20 minutes and includes a drivers safety briefing, collecting of safety gear, instructions on the karts and driving conditions and 10 minutes on the track. Drivers will not be limited to a maximum number of laps they can complete within their 10-minute track time.

  • I give permission for my photograph, image, voice, or likeness to be captured and used for any marketing or promotion of Stadium Karts.

  • Drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or guardian accompanying them and present during their session/s. They must also have a parent or guardian co-sign the Participant Agreement.
